14000 UAHImperial Topaz is an exquisite and one of the most desirable varieties of topaz, captivating with its warm, rich shades: from golden yellow and peach to pinkish orange, reddish and deep cognac ("sherry"). This is the most valuable *natural* color of topaz, historically associated with wealth and prestige, which probably gave it the name "Imperial".
Its deposits are extremely limited, and the most famous and classic is located in the Ouro Preto region of Brazil. Smaller finds are possible in Pakistan.
This gemstone is formed mainly in pegmatites and high-temperature quartz veins, and is also found in placers. Its unique and stable color (unlike some other topazes, the color of which can fade over time) is due to impurities of chromium and, to a lesser extent, iron in the crystal lattice. With a high hardness of 8 on the Mohs scale, Imperial Topaz is a strong and durable stone, perfectly suited for use in everyday jewelry. Its high transparency and bright glassy luster are beautifully revealed in a variety of cuts (oval, cushion, emerald, pear).
The warm tones of the stone are especially harmoniously combined with yellow and rose gold, emphasizing its sunny glow. In addition to its exceptional beauty and rarity, Imperial Topaz is highly valued by collectors and jewelers around the world.
This stone is believed to symbolize abundance, success and inspiration. It is a real treasure for connoisseurs of unique natural gemstones and exquisite jewelry.
